"I must go down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky." This is the opening line to John Masefield's famous poem, Sea Fever which was written in 1902. In 2023 Penny held a solo exhibition at the Old Coastguard Hotel titled Sea Fever as it evoked so much about what she feels about the sea. For many people the sea is like a magnet and we are driven to seek out the ocean. There is something magical about the sea and humanity holds it close in its collective heart.
