I Think We May Be Alone
oil on canvas
40 x 40 cm + tray frame
£520
When Penny listened to Brian Cox talking about the probability of life in the universe, she was disappointed to learn that we may be alone in our galaxy. Of course there may be life in terms of single cell structures and of course there is complex life in another galaxy. But in our own galaxy, the chances are remote. So the chances of communications with other life are very, very slim. This is her interpretation of that fact. And actually it's not a bad feeling.
