Sometimes it is good to see art in the home. and I love to see how a painting just settles in to its new environment..
A STORM IN THE BEDROOM
This painting measures 5ft by 2ft 6" and I think the size works above a double bed. I hope it doesn't cause too much insomnia and vertigo!
LINING THE BLUE
A classic example of how one of my larger works (3 ft x 4 ft ) slots neatly into the home above a double bed and it doesn't look at all imposing. The two horizontal lines work well and the new owners snooze peacefully below a relatively calm sea.
A SPLASH OF RED
The architecture of the stairwell is awesome and the splash of red poppies decorating the landing is perfectly placed.
CANVAS SIZE
Sometimes a canvas is destined for a niche and further up the staircase is the undisputed spot for this marine painting. I'm sure there was no discussion there as to 'where to hang'.

MAINTAINING THE GREEN ZONE
A picture of serenity in the flower room. Plenty of house plants
but the painting is all about a tree which links the outside world to indoor planting.
