There can be no better way of exploring the history and the nature of Mount's Bay than by taking to the water and swimming the coastline. My swim buddy and I took to the water last year and completed our journey in 15 swims which we document here in our book.
I couldn't undertake the swim project alone, It was too far and in unknown waters, so I drafted in my swim buddy, Sand. Here we are having completed an epic swim around St Clement's Isle from Mousehole Harbour. The guy sitting on Sand's shoulder is Simon, my husband and one of our trusty watchers. Thanks, Sand - I couldn't have done any of this without you.
The swim wasn't without hazards. We met a few creatures on the way and baled out several times when the water was rough. But most days the sea was beautiful and the cake a perfect reward.
